The core operating institution is the Shandong Lithium Research Commonweal Operation and Management Co., Ltd., which was registered on November 11, 2022. It is jointly funded by Shandong Geely-Sunwoda Power Battery Co., LTD., Shandong Sunwoda New Energy Co., LTD., Zaozhuang High-tech Industrial Investment Group Co., LTD., Shandong Tianhan New Energy Technology Co., LTD., and Shandong Gaozhi New Energy Testing Co., LTD.

(1) Construction of Shandong lithium battery industry alliance, Ltd
Since its establishment, the lithium battery industry alliance., Ltd has attracted 45 member units, including well-known domestic leading enterprises, local backbone enterprises, prestigious universities, and research institutions. It has organized numerous academic exchanges and industrial summits, actively promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and the clustered development of industries.
We have formed a seven-element innovation model featuring "government, industry, academia, research, finance, commerce, and service" to promote synergistic innovation. We have actively leveraged the leading role of two listed companies, Shandong Geely-Sunwoda Power Battery Co., Ltd to drive innovation. We have strived to create a leading-edge, innovative Li-ion battery industry in Zaozhuang. Currently, there are 120 Li-ion battery-related enterprises in the city, with business coverage including anodes, cathodes, electrolytes, separators, cells, modules, and cases. We are led by listed companies such as Geely Holding Group, Sunwoda Electronic Co.,Ltd., and Shenzhen Kedali Industry Co.,Ltd., supported by promising enterprises such as Shandong Jidian, and focusing on cultivating local enterprises such as Jingong Electronics and Tianhan New Energy. We are working to enhance the influence of Zaozhuang as "China's New Energy Battery City" at a high quality. In July 2024, after being evaluated and publicly announced by the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, Shandong lithium battery industry alliance., Ltd, as the applicant, was awarded the title of Shandong's first energy electronics (lithium-ion battery) industrial cluster.
(2) Actively promote industrial innovation and development
Released the "Shandong Lithium Research Independent Innovation and Achievement Transformation Plan" project plan, publicly selected high-quality science and technology innovation projects and supported their transformation and application. The alliance and expert group of the alliance have collectively participated in the evaluation and review of more than 20 major lithium-ion battery projects. The alliance has included 8 projects in its project database, supported 5 projects, and provided a total of 24 million yuan in post-project subsidies to support enterprise R&D. This has led to investment of 117 million yuan in related projects. Breakthroughs have been made in the performance and material application research of lithium-ion batteries and have been successfully applied in the market, for example, with the products of Geely-Sunwoda. The relevant products have obtained performance certification from the manufacturer and have been successively installed on Volvo and Geely models.
(3) Innovate service models and encourage enterprise R&D and innovation
Shandong lithium battery industry alliance, Ltd actively collaborates with co-construction units, encourages enterprises to conduct independent research and development, joint research and development, and improves industrial enterprises to master core technologies and superior technologies. We will encourage enterprises to tackle key problems in technological innovation. and cooperate with industrial chain enterprises to improve their own research and development capabilities and technical levels. In 2023, the member units of the Community have added 25 new technology patents.

The alliance relies on the leading role of companies such as Geely-Sunwoda, Shandong Sunwoda, and Tianhan New Energy to visit and negotiate with their upstream and downstream supply chain enterprises, carry out industrial chain transfer and incubation work. added 2 provincial-level innovation platforms (Shandong Tianhan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was rated as the 2023 Shandong Enterprise Technology Center, Shandong Jinggong Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. was rated as the Shandong Energy Storage Battery Technology Innovation Center), and successfully assisted 3 high-tech enterprise evaluations (Shandong Xiaoyi Electric Technology Co., Ltd., Shandong Shenghua Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., Shandong Xurun Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.)
(5)Actively visit enterprises and universities to promote exchanges and cooperation
Collaborative member enterprises jointly visit industrial chain enterprises to promote complementary advantages, strategic cooperation, technical exchanges, and other work.
